Artist: Rinke Nijburg

In his new work Rinke Nijburg (1964) investigates the godlike qualities in the cosmos and mankind. Is there a kind of god in man or is the cosmos sublime enough as it is? And what does a metamorphosis – irradiated by man or cosmos, look like? Is the cosmos a purely scientific domain? Or could it also be a personal journey in which there is room for pictorial and cultural references from art, film, literature, religion and philosophy, resulting in a temporary and correct presentation?
