Graphic Surgery
Gysbert Zijlstra (1978) and Erris Huigens (1978) draw their inspiration from the industrial and urban landscape; particularly the functional character of steel constructions, cranes and scaffolding. Zijlstra and Huigens are fascinated by the transience of building sites that don’t pretend to be aesthetically beautiful.

Malin Gabriella Nordin (1988) makes multidisciplinary works of cloth, paper and textile. Her work is abstract but it also evokes familiar images. Her art is about feelings, emotions, how colour and shape influence each other and its surroundings and how tension and balance come to life, separate from the composition.
